Jason Knutson is a firm shareholder. His practice focuses on complex litigation, including major environmental and industrial accidents, as well as class action claims. He also represents clients in medical malpractice, product liability, and personal injury cases. Jason has represented clients in personal injury cases at every level of Wisconsin's justice system, from jury trials in county circuit courts to arguments before the Wisconsin Supreme Court. Jason is also an Adjunct Professor at the University of Wisconsin Law School, where he teaches trial advocacy, negotiation, legal writing, and lawyering skills.

Jason was named one of the "Top 50 attorneys in Wisconsin" from 2014 to 2018, and one of the "Top 25 attorneys in Madison" from 2014 to 2021 by Super Lawyers®. Jason has been certified as a Civil Trial Specialist by the National Board of Trial Advocacy and named a Top 100 Trial Lawyer by The National Trial Lawyers as a result of his extensive trial experience and success. He is listed in Best Lawyers in America, most recently in the 2022 edition, for his work in personal injury litigation. Best Lawyers named him Lawyer of the Year 2020 - Madison - Personal Injury Litigation- Plaintiffs. He also received the Dane County Bar Association's Pro Bono Attorney Award in 2017 for his work with Dane County's Latino community.

Jason is an active member of several legal associations and local community organizations, including the James E. Doyle Inns of Court and the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art's Board of Trustees. He is the former president of Woodland Montessori School and a regular youth sports coach in Madison. He has served on committees for the Wisconsin State Bar and the Dane County Bar Association.

Jason earned his law degree with honors from the University of Wisconsin Law School. His interests outside of the office or courtroom include art history, movies, and aviation.
