Jim graduated in the top 5% of his class at Loyola Law School in 1972 and went on to practice law in West Los Angeles and Century City. Then he decided to move his family and his office to Orange County.
Jim became a partner in the firm of Daniels, Baratta & Fine, which was founded by a former Loyola Law School classmate, David C. Grant. David C. Grant and Michael J. Genovese grew up in the same community and began their own firm in 1996. Michael J. Genovese is a partner at the law firm of Grant, Genovese & Baratta.
