Ken has been in private practice since 1979 and has established himself as one of Washington State’s preeminent family law practitioners.

Ken represents clients in high-net-worth divorce or cohabitation cases involving business and professional practice valuation, property division, and spousal maintenance issues. He reviews and prepares pre- and post-nuptial agreements on a regular basis. Ken also represents clients in civil litigation, such as personal injury claims. He has successfully tried or mediated over a thousand cases and is a private mediator in family law matters on a regular basis.

Ken enjoys traveling and collecting Native American art, some of which is displayed at the Brewe Layman office in Everett. He also likes to go hiking and running.
