For nearly 20 years, I've helped clients through what is often the most difficult time of their lives, whether it is a divorce, child custody or support, or some other legal dispute. My practice style is “hands-on” and I don’t take the cookie-cutter approach. Instead, I prefer to work with my client to decide the most effective means of resolving the legal problem. In 2011, I was certified as a Family Law Specialist by the NC Board of Legal Specialization, which requires an ongoing peer review process and successful completion of an exam similar to the bar exam but exclusively in family law.
