Bakke Norman was founded in 1985 by Gary Bakke, George Norman and Thomas Schumacher to provide comprehensive legal services to businesses and individuals in Northwest Wisconsin, while developing and maintaining a reputation for the highest personal and professional standards in the region.

The first office was located at the Heritage Center in New Richmond. Since then the firm has continued to expand by adding offices in Baldwin and Menomonie. In January 2003, Richardson Law Office and Richardson Tax & Accounting of Spring Valley merged with Bakke Norman and later moved its operations to the Menomonie office. In July 2016, McCormack Law Office and Attorney Thomas McCormack joined Bakke Norman. Continued expansion and dedication to servicing our clients comes with the addition of our Eau Claire office in 2021.
